UI upgrades to flagship styling software, Look Creator, show 55% productivity increase

Major upgrades to our flagship styling software Look Creator are here. Look Creator is Looklet’s pioneering product styling software that allows apparel product images that are shot in the Looklet Studio to be dynamically styled after shooting to generate fully styled, ready-to-publish on-model e-commerce apparel imagery.

Taking onboard input from clients and focusing on UI improvements, the tool now allows you to style and export product images a staggering ~55% faster. Style and export 4 angle shots plus one detail image in an average of only 90 seconds per item. That’s the capacity to style over 300 items with 5 images per item in a single traditional 7.5 hour workday (7.5hr)!

Designed for increased convenience, speed, and flexibility in your daily workflow the upgrades result in:

Flexible styling 

Easily add different styling, crops, backgrounds, movement, and more to individual images quickly from the redesigned side panel. Styling per image adds flexibility when creating looks and streamlines export to get images online faster. It’s also now possible to duplicate angles so fully customize the image series on your PDP.

Once items have been added to your look you open the Styling Assets icon and you can click on them to change between styling variants or remove items.

Item Overview Upgrade

Find all angles, ghost, and detail images within the overview for easier styling and quality control. Get images online within minutes with the possibility to review multi-looks at a time, speeding up the review process to export.

The Overview tab now shows an overview of the shot item, variants the item was shot in, plus detail and/or ghost images.

Out of Stock

Enabling dynamic Shop the Look and improving merchandising availability is now possible with our Out of Stock feature. An alert badge will appear to show you which styling items are out of stock within a look and need to be restyled. In seconds you can replace with different, in-stock items, export, and have a new image live on your site same day! Always have in-stock items on the PDP to maximize conversions.

How it works: Apparel images for e-commerce are first captured in the Looklet Studio, our advanced, automated e-commerce image photography tool. Once item images are captured in the Looklet Studio the item images flow seamlessly to the app Look Creator and are available in your product image library.

The traditional photoshoot restricts merchandising and styling decisions to a single point in time: at the time of image capture creating static looks. If a styling item or colorway sells either new images must be shot or else images with out-of-stock items will remain visible to consumers. Your items are locked into however they were styled at the time of shooting.

Look Creator allows you to separate product images from the rest of the merchandising and styling decisions. Mix and match styling items with your main item, making decisions in Look Creator that traditionally would be made on set. Change out different styling items, backgrounds, real models, and body positions after item image capture. The result is speed, flexibility, and dynamic styling responsive to up-to-the-minute stock and conversion levels.
