Looklet appoints former COO as new CEO

After 18 months as CFO/COO, Jannis Koehn is promoted to CEO of fashion-tech company Looklet as former CEO steps down to pursue other interests.

Jannis Koehn, from Berlin, Germany, joined Looklet as CFO/COO in July 2015. Previously, he worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group where he specialized in consumer goods and corporate development. His passion is to scale and professionalize small and medium-sized companies in the creative digital space. Jannis holds a business degree from WHU (Germany) and an MPA from Harvard.

“I am happy and honored by the trust of shareholders and employees to lead Looklet into the next era. Looklet is in a unique position to transform the fashion e-commerce space and to help our clients drive conversion while staying lean. We will continue to strengthen our relationships with existing clients, open new growth paths, and invest heavily in R&D to reach new levels of flexibility, usability, and image quality,” says Jannis Koehn, CEO.

“Looklet is a real game changer: a fast-paced fashion-tech company with vast potential to help retailers and brands in their digital journey. Although only 18 months within Looklet, Jannis has quickly become an integral part of the company. It is a strong sign of continuity and stability, and we are confident that he and his team will be able unlock the product’s enormous potential”, says Ilan Benham, Chairman of the Board of Looklet.

Koehn now oversees an international team of 75 employees in Stockholm and New York and further operations in Asia. Looklet processes over 6,000 fashion images daily, produced by high-profile fashion e-commerce companies in their 50 Looklet photo studios in the U.S. and Europe.
