Geektime recently added Looklet to the growing list of great startups to watch in Stockholm.

‘’Founded in 2009 by Robert Ahlborg and Adam Berg and originally targeted at the end consumer, Looklet enables retailers to efficiently produce fashion photos for new products.

A special studio with a virtual model is set up at the client’s own location, and once all garments have been shot, the automated process provides them with an editing suite where they can select everything from facial expressions to body variations. Retailers can create endless combinations of looks without needing to reshoot models, thus saving them money and time. For example, a shirt can be combined with a short skirt in one photo and with long trousers in the next, while matching season-appropriate accessories and shoes.

Looklet raised $1.5 million in seed funding, and companies such as Neiman Marcus and Saks 5th Avenue are already on their client roster.’’
